There is a long list of musicians and vocalists who prove that you need not give up the things you love because you reach a certain age. Along with longevity in the business, these entertainers have the joy of knowing that they continue to influence multiple generations. Windermere elder care providers believe the following five seniors inspire seniors to pursue their passions despite their age.
1. Bob Dylan
Dylan released his first hit single at the age of 21, but was not inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame until he was 46. The last hit single released by the folk singer was entitled “Gotta Serve Somebody” and topped the charts in 1979. In addition to enjoying his Never Ending Tour, at the age of 75, Dylan has also partook in acting.
2. David Crosby

The tenor with the golden throat is now 82 but continues performing with the Four Seasons. Younger audiences best know him for his hit songs “Grease” and “Oh What a Night.” Along with his joy of singing, Valli has also ventured into acting and made recent appearances on The Sopranos and Hawaii Five-O.
